COLD DAWN (in U.C. 0085) - Episode 1 of 6


"The order has not arrived yet?"

"Not yet, Captain Schlussel."

The fan blades in the wall creaked slowly. They would not be sufficient to dissipate heat and moisture accumulated in the room, despite its depth in the soil.

The tension in the air was palpable, none of the survivors of the Gruppe wanted to embark on this mission. Sure, they all felt rather useless after the end of the conflict, confined as they were in the depths of the African desert without a purpose. But not even the most fanatical among them would dare to embark on such an undertaking. Even the order of Axis could safely be ignored: thare not them hidden in deep space while the Gruppe, completely cut off, was left on Earth, continuing a hopeless guerrilla war?

A blip on the operator screen brought Schlussel back to reality.

"Incoming transmission from Axis, the decryption starts"

The strings of the message on the monitor running fast, faster than Schlussel wanted .

"The beginning of the attack is scheduled for tomorrow, two hours before dawn. All the forces of the Gruppe and the special unit handed will be used without savings, encounter with hostile Titans forces possible, all details in the included debriefing. Sieg Zeon! "

Schlussel read twice the message that the operator was passing him on paper ... "all the forces of the Gruppe" were reduced to two mobile suits and the experimental unit ... and "without savings" meant that it was a fucking suicide mission...

"Call me Varadenko and the recruit, prepare mobile suits, double checks of all equipment, we go to war ..."

- 1/144 Non-grade ZZ Desert Zaku (feet)
- 1/144 Non-grade MS-06FZ Zaku FZ (head); 
- TOO MUCH work on it (re-sized, taller and wider, it became big as a Dom...)
